Meet Tina:
As far as master class instructors go, Tina prides herself as being an educator in the true form of jazz. At heart, she is a teacher, specializing and focusing on the educational aspects of dance, with a strong emphasis on developing a dancer's stage presence, above and beyond technique. Early in her career, taking her cue from the original LA jazz greats, Tina developed a new art form mixing straight jazz and "funk", which helped the students she trained thrive in the golden age of music video. They danced with such video legends as Prince, Michael Jackson and Paula Abdul.

While growing as a highly sought after competition choreographer, her choreography credits beyond her numerous award winning national competition routines included Laker Girls, Miss California and Miss Texas Pageants, and television shows with Audrey and Judy Landers. She has performed, choreographed and/or instructed in Thailand, Japan, Canada, Guam, Saipan, Australia and at London's famous Pineapple Dance Studios. She was also on staff at the Edge Performing Arts Center in Hollywood.

The students she trained have continued to work in the industry dancing with artists such as Usher, Aaron Carter, The A-Teens and Corbin Bleu. And two of her favorite success stories are training Sabrina Bryan of the Cheetah Girls and Matthew Morrison of Glee.

Tina spent 7 years as a jazz instructor on the national dance convention LA Dance Magic, where she was known for her high energy classes and her enthusiasm for working with dancers of all levels.
